Couple of articles worth taking a look at: one, an op-ed kind of piece about the insidiousness of ‘political correctness’ and how it’s reshaping American culture for the worse, and another about what is referred to as ‘benevolent sexism,’ as in the dangers of ‘positive’ special treatment for women. Haven’t quite worked it out how the two are related, but it just feels like they are. Perhaps they share some common denominator about the differences between the way things are and the way they should be… or maybe not. We’ll leave it to you, dear reader, to help us figure it out. Get back to us when you do!

Addendum: And another one that somehow seems a kindred spirit. One wonders if Big Brother would throw T.J. in the pokey for this well-traveled quote: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” (1787). By the way, in case you’re reading this Uncle Sugar, we are 100 percent against the sentiments expressed in this Jefferson quote! Just in case you’re considering oiling up the level on the trap spring for us!

I would advise against posting either article on your site. The first one is simplistic and reductionist to a fault; the second one is pretty good, but the abysmal quality of the reply posts is shameful (although, if this is an anti-woman thing, and you want to show up the sub-basement level 10 of female debating skills, then of course you win).

My advice: don’t go there. No good can come of it.

That most women cannot stomach feminism’s dictates is a well-known fact to anybody over 25 with a pulse and a 3-digit IQ. Feminism doesn’t win by logic or intellect, however; feminism wins by brute political force.

And Happy Birthday to you, sir!
