Tip of the Day: Lose Weight Fast(er)

The White Tiger told us about this new diet craze a while ago, and now we see from the headlines that WT was once again ahead of the curve. The diet is simplicity itself: two days a week, don’t eat (actually, it’s even better than that. Two days a week you’re supposed to eat a third of the normal daily caloric intake: 500 calories for women and 600 for men). We recommend you check out a few other websites (such as this one) to get a handle on how to do this safely and correctly. It’s referred to as the 5:2 intermittent Fast Diet, and it’s supposed to work wonders for weight loss and blood sugar control. There’s also a book with recipes to help you figure out how to get through those two ‘fasting’ days.
