Tip of the Day: Daily Habits = Wealth

by Eubie on July 18, 2013

We here at the HUB are the sum of our bad habits, which is at least partly why we’re broke couch potatoes who constantly complain about how unfair it all is. Well, turns out that we are caught in a tautology: the more time we waste indulging these bad habits, the more we have cause to complain, which brings us back to the original problem. What to do? Change those bad daily habits and develop some new, better ones. This article from Yahoo! Finance, based on a new book by a guy who researched the daily habits of the wealthy, offers a few tips on what practical steps you can take to get on the road to wealth. They are:

1) Get up early

2) Make lists

3) Take ‘normal’ lunch breaks

4) Eat healthy

5) Don’t gossip

6) Limit TV/Internet time

Make these habits a part of your day and eventually you’ll be wealthy enough to sleep late and take long lunches where you’ll eat rich, fattening foods while you dish about the latest office scuttlebutt before going home to veg out in front of your 3-D Drive-In-sized Jumbo-tron TV… No wait, what?
