Tip of the Day: ChillerTV

by Eubie on October 13, 2013

We recently changed our cable-Internet provider service to AT&T’s U-verse, which we can and do recommend. But that’s not exactly the thrust of today’s tip, no. Rather, as a result of this new service we’ve discovered many new cable TV channels that are out there, and one of our favorites–especially this time of year–is a channel called ChillerTV, apparently an NBC affiliate. This station is devoted entirely to scary movies and programs, featuring many lesser known films that are still certainly worth a couple of hours of your time as All Hallow’s Eve approaches. This month, Saturday is the night for featured films to be showcased. For example, last night we caught The Woods (2006), a decent entry in the Evil Witches oeuvre that takes place at an all-girls boarding school (much in the same vein as the new season of American Horror Story: Coven). If you have ChillerTV on your dial check out this ‘Scary Good’ network this month.
