Tip of the Day: Learn to Code

by Eubie on October 15, 2013

The founder of Reddit, a user-generated content website, the most important skill a worker can possess in the 21st century is the ability to write computer code (a skill that can be mastered, apparently, without formal schooling… a la, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg or Apple’s Steve Wozniak). How can you learn to write code? A good place to start is at the website Code.org. From there, you can find many, many websites that offer free coding instruction. So, if you want to compete in the Digital Age of Information, learn the language of computers, or risk being tossed on top of the Scrapheap of History!

This is the BEST daily tip ever posted on this site.

SERIOUSLY: people are very quickly being divided up into two classes:

People who can code and people who can’t code.

The code writers are becoming a priestly class, like the few people who could read and write in the middle ages. The future belongs to them, BIG TIME.

Do yourself a solid: LEARN TO CODE!
