Tip of the Day: Dread Central

by Eubie on October 22, 2013

One of our favorite websites is the Internet Movie Database, or IMDb, which has information on nearly every film or television show ever made and shown. Here you can also find many, many reviews–both from critics and the general public–to help you with your decision to watch. Of the professional reviewers, most of the mainstream Hollywood fare gets reviewed by such esteemed critics as Roger Ebert (though, sadly, no longer) and James Berardinelli, while the lesser-known films get savaged by a wide variety of independent bloggers, many of whom like to focus on specific genres, especially horror. One such site is Dread Central, a kind of clearinghouse for all things spooky. Today’s tip is to bookmark this website, make use of it in the coming handful of days before Halloween, and get ready for the Terror! The monsters are coming!
