Tip of the Day: Bulk Up

One of our favorite quotes here at the HUB, though we have no idea of its origins (and no desire to pursue said origin story). We’ve always felt this saying beautifully captures the thought that people often aren’t willing to do what it takes to reach their goals or, if you will, reach the Promised Land. We want shortcuts, handouts, hand ups, freebies, what-have-you’s, to get to where we want to go. With that in mind, we offer today’s tip: effective shortcuts to building muscle. Yes, they are there, and most of them involve using supplements to ‘enhance’ the impact of exercise on muscle mass. Well, many of those supplements are BS, but some aren’t. This website examines a handful of supplements and renders a verdict on which are effective: Creatine and HMB (though HMB is a little iffy-ier). So if you’re looking for an easier, softer way to get HUGE, these are the supplements for you. The rest? Toss them.
