Tip of the Day: TEOTWAWKI!

by Eubie on January 14, 2014

Some of us are late to the game. Turns out there’s a blog out there devoted to all things TEOTWAWKI. What’s TEOTWAWKI, you ask? Or, maybe you don’t. Maybe you already know what it is. We didn’t, but we do now: ‘The End Of The World As We Know It.’ As you might’ve guessed, it’s a blog devoted to all things of importance to those survivalists waiting with bated breath for our Extinction Event. We here at the HUB aren’t losing any sleep over it, but we do recommend checking out the site for its wealth of information about living off the land. Now you might be interested in how we learned about TEOTWAWKI, and this gives us an opportunity to give another shoutout to one of our Top Ten Favorite Shows on TV, Archer, which kicked off its new season last night (with a superb episode that presages what looks to be an unforgettable season). Anyway, in last season’s two-part finale (‘Sea Tunt, Parts I and II’), HUB favorite Pam Poovey references moonshine as a mainstay of any good ‘bug-out’ bag, a carryall that often comes in handy during TEOTWAWKI (or so our little Pammy says). Visit the blog and watch Archer; one has nothing to do with the other, but both are worth a few moments of your time.
