Tip of the Day: ‘The Real History of Science Fiction’

by Eubie on April 22, 2014

We’re a little behind on this one. Last Saturday, the BBC America launched a new four-part documentary The Real History of Science Fiction, whose title is self-explanatory. The first episode, “Robots,” will be rerun (though we’ll leave it to you to find it in your TV Guide) several times in the coming weeks, as well as the three other epis that make up the quartet. Oh, and a bonus: if you’re able to catch one of the commercials, you’ll get to see Rutger Hauer speak a snippet of one of the most famous sentences from one of the most moving soliloquies in film history: “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe!” Watch it!
