Now this is an exercise we can get behind… or down on all fours, as it were. It’s called ‘planking,’ and as you might’ve guessed, it basically involves keeping your body stiff as a board for a period of time in order to tone up various ‘core’ muscle groups. The added benefits include better posture and fewer lower back problems. Only a few minutes a day and you’re on your way to rock-hard abs and a pain-free life… or at least a little more of both.
